I have long straight black hair that. I have tried braiding it and it works until they fall out two hours later. Is there any other way of making my hair stay wavy longer?

I have natural black hair, like dark and never bleached before or treated, I like to lighten some of my hair to like a brownish colour. Is there a way to lighten my black hair with out the use of chemicals? (mainly bleach) I mean a natural way of lightening it.

I burn easily in the sun so is there a way to lighten hair colour from black to brown without going in the sun long and using bleach?

I’m a natural blonde and left the top part of my hair my natural color and dyed the bottom half of my head black. Three months later, I now wish to dye my hair a dark auburn/red color. The black hair dye has faded to a medium brown color with some patchy ash blonde spots in it. I was wondering if there is a specific way to dye this type of hair without getting a two-tone effect with the red dye?

I am a black male and currently I wear my hair in a low taper with waves. I am thinking about letting my hair grow out and get dreads. I was wondering if any of the ladies could lend me some advice one how to grow my hair faster. I heard fish oil helps. I also need clarification on the difference in the type (sister/brother locs, twist, locs, and silky dreads)

I am a teen who has a black dad & a white mom, & so i have really tight curls, known as “mixed people hair” lol!:-) So i am trying to find a shampoo/conditioner that is good-working, but also on a very cheap scale, lol. THNX

I know there are a lot of variables here so I’ll say an average fistfull of hair from the head. So how strong is hair? How much force would cause the hair to rip out? PS. no, i’m not planning anything, I study self-defense and BJJ and this question sometimes comes up in the street fight scenerios.

My hair used to be blonde. I dyed it brown and it didn’t wash out like it was supposed to. I had it bleached professionally, and it’s a dishwater blonde, more dark than light. What is the best bleaching brand to use if I want to get it blonde again? I’ve used Herbal Essence a long time ago and it turned my hair banana yellow. Don’t want that to happen again. What do you think?

When i take a shower i only use conditioner and then rinse it out. I put the conditoner on my scalp.

i use mane & tail conditoner.

i wash my hair with shampoo sometimes

im trying to grow my hair faster.

i want to get high lights on my black hair but most of the things i see in the stores say not recommended for black hair you have to have at least brown hair for it to show. so what can i use.

I absolutely love that hairstyle, that I kind of have it myself. But all the pictures on the net of this hairstyle are all of the front or side, and never the back. Is it short hair? Choppy? Just like the sides?
If anyone knows someone with it, or if you have the proper scene hair, please upload a URL of a picture of the back.

I asked a stylist in February to die my hair but apparently she bleached it.

My hair seems to be growing really slowly. I want to grow out my natural hair color all the way to mid- chest.

Accounting for hair trims, how long would it take me to grow my hair from the roots all the way to mid- chest? Years? Decades? Impossible?

Any tips for me?

Ok, is it better to:

1. ) Put it on dry hair, wait 20 minutes then shampoo and use regular conditioner.

. . or. . .

2. ) Shampoo hair, towel dry and use deepvconditioner for 20 minutes and rinse out??

I want a hairstyle that is good for a girl that is always on the go. And I’m about to play sports soon and I don’t have time to do my hair at night because I’m exhausted and in the morning I’m in a rush.

I don’t want to dye all of my hair, but rather do something that is very noticable. I have dirty blonde hair, so darker colors go better in my hair. Which is exactly what i want. Here are some ideas.
1- Dye only the tips a darker color.
2- Dye in lowlights. (which is like highlights but darker colors instead of lighter)
3- Dye the underside a darker color so you can see it when its up or when it sways.

What do you think are good ideas?

I had my hair relaxed couple of days ago i wanted a straight hair. But that relaxers did not work. So i was thinking of getting the permenent straightening. Does it help?? My hair is not like african american hair but it has little curls and its gets frizzy very often. Any suggetions
And how long should I wait if i want to get it done

I’ve got a nice tan suit I usually wear in the summertime to occasions; I’ve got a wedding in about 2 weeks and wanted to get a vest to make a 3 piece. I’m not having much luck finding the same color on a vest so I was going to try another color. Any suggestions? Also, what color shirt would match with whichever vest color you reccommend? Thanks!

I will be wearing many outfits and I always paint my nails.
I don’t feel complete without my nails painted.
Thing is, there are gonna be formal nights and my dresses are different colors.
Which color do you think I should paint my nails?
Black? White? Skin color?
I just want to carry around one nail polish. . .
This is super silly, I know.
I’m just so clueless because I don’t want the color to clash with any of my dresses.

I was just looking around the internet for a protein filler for my hair, because I need one after I bleach my hair but I can’t find any in the UK. I found a recipe using egg and olive oil and water to make a conditioner for your hair. Has anyone tried it? I wanna try it but I guess it would smell really bad? Also, are you suppose to use the egg yolks or the egg whites?
