Comments (4) I just got my naval pierced a few days ago and my piercer told me to use Bactine. I did some research after and a lot of people were saying not to use Bactine. Also a lot of people are saying to use Dial but then again others are saying not to use it, therefore I am confused.
What are some good soaps to use to clean my piercing with? Or what are the ingredients in the soap I need to look for?

My friend got her belly button pierced and a bump showed up on the bottom hole of her piercing and green pus is coming out. She’s looked everywhere online and everything says it can be an infection that will go into her organs so she’s scared about it. Is it even possible for the infection to go into her organs and also what do you think she should do?
I have my noise pierced for over a year now. But it doesn’t seem to be healing still. There a red bump that comes in and out next to my piercing randomly. I was thinking of taking it out and re-piercing it, in hopes that it heals properly and fully. Any advise?

If if means anything, I had a nose ring that closed up and it didn’t leave any scar, but I let my lobe piercings close up and I have scars from those.
I have my helix piercing for 11 months. i heard it’s supposed to heal completely by 8 months, but when I put headphones on (the big ones that go over your entire ear) it still hurts a bit. how long will it take till it stops hurting?

I do competition cheerleading, and we wear half tops and my parents always go. Would it be okay to leave the piercing out for a day after it has healed?
I want a tattoo on the back of my shoulder symbolizing my kids but I dont know what to do. I have 2 step kids Grant and Emily, and I have 2 kids of my own Aidan and Alexis. I dont really have oily skin or dry skin. I bought this new face wash and I’m curious as too how many times I should wash my face?
I have a really dry face. But when I add lots of moisturizers and stuff on it, I end up looking really greasy by the middle of the day.
But, if I don’t put enough moisturizers, my face starts peeling.
Like today, I put on lots of moisturizer, liquid foundation, glycerin&water, everything to make keep my face peeling but it still did, yet my face looked oily.
So I looked pretty effed up.

I just got my second hole done about 9 weeks ago. It barely hurts. I am thinking about getting a lip piercing. But I wanna know about how much more a lip piercing hurts. What type of pain comes afterward. And any other information you think would be helpful :) !

I have difficulty finding a foundation that covers all my imperfections since I have marks from old acne blemishes. The color of my skin is kind of light tan or olive and it’ hard for me to find the exact color so most of the time I end up buying a lighter color of foundation or try to find the closest match, but still it doesn’t cover my imperfections and you still see them.
I read in a magazine that makeup artists use make up with a high level of pigmentation which covers completely the acne and imperfections of celebrities making them almost invisible.
But how can I find foundations with high pigmentations if all of them are light?
Do you buy a lighter, even, or darker foundation (than your skin) to cover your imperfections completely?
*what i mean is one tone lighter or darker than the true color of face.

A dermatologist is the only person can take a UV photo of your face to show you sun damage? I’m only 21 and have used sunscreen religiously ever since I was much younger so I am eager to find out how little/much sun damage I have. Thanks in advance for any answers.
I have an upcoming interview with Blockbuster Video, and I have a nose and lip piercing. Also, my hair has two (subtle) purple streaks. I plan on removing my piercings before I go for the interview, but will I be allowed to wear them at work if I get the job? I couldn’t find an official dress code policy for the company online. Answers from a current or former employee would be most helpful.
Does numbing cream work? Does it numb the entire area all the way through or only the outside? What are brands of numbing creams that work well and are affordable? If you use numbing cream, would you still be able to feel pain? Are cartilage piercings worth it? Advice or tips? Thank you.
I am wondering because i am planning on getting a second piercing and want to know. I think if i get second piercings in both ears i will be able to either put both in or just one if i want.
I have two piercings on each ear and they are not big piercings and i have them for years, but i want them to get closed up because i dont like where they are and i want to put in new holes. Do you think i should put in new holes and try to forget about the others or should i just not get anymore piercings because it will look weird with so many piercings on each ear?
Will they eventually close up?
Personally I think that it’s tacky and a bad decision, especially at a young age. Many girls I know are already getting multiple piercings and we’re only 13 years old, and they are also planning on getting tattoos! I think tattoos are OK but only if they have a special meaning (such as the same one as a loved one who passed, etc) but only where you can cover them with clothes.
What are your opinions?
