I really think with make up it depends on your age. As far as shaving, if you have embarrasing visible hair I would hope your mom would reconsider. It’s hard enough growing up talk to her and let her know how you feel. I’m not sure if she knew how you felt she may change her mind hot weather is here and I would hate to see you embarrased to wear shorts. Good Luck.

yes, good clothes you wear to a funeral and I let my clothing choices dictate Whether or not to wear makeup. If I am wearing a dress slacks or skirt I wear subtle makeup.

i just had a funeral recently and so i asked how do you wear makeup for a funeral btw im so sorry for your loss): and the most helpful answer was: “You should go with simple … it just seems like you are more focused on your vanity than the person you have lost if you wear full dark makeup. So, if you will be crying it is not great to have a ton of black gunk running down your cheeks! So start out with a waterproof foundation ( if you wear it!) Revlon color stay is waterproof. Then use a TINY bit of eyeshadow in a light color. Make it a few shades lighter than your skin color for a wide awake look, or a couple of shades darker for a subtle, natural yet nnoticeablelook. Once again I rrecommend revlon color stay. Use it on your lids. Then mascara one! A waterproof. Any will do. Use one coat. finish with a little lip gloss, to add a small, respectable touch of glamor! ” and “When you go to a funeral you should never wear something thats flashy. wear modest clothing, dark colored. Well at least you had the guts to ask her. . . I waited so long trying to casually drop hints to my mom about these things. I am a little shy and my mother is always yelling and screaming about every little thing. After summer camp, my friend used my towel to shave her legs. I thought that this would be a perfect opportunity to bring it up to my mom, so I said, “Mom, I need to wash my towel. Maddie used it to shave her legs.” She replied and then we were alone in the car . She said do your friends and when said yes, she did too. For the make-up: What about asking her when she started to use make-up. Try saying What did you mom say about it. . how did you ask her. . . and if she answers with the answer that you did not wish for, just say when do you think that it would be OK for me to start and compromise on a time when she thinks it will be Appropriate and then ask her for some tips ( even if you could not care). . it will make her soft uphope this helps:]

Keep your makeup very natural. No heavy eyeliner or shadow bright, and definitely no bright lip colors.

You neeed to tell her that that is what girls and women do and its only natural with the make-up and let her know that makeup is just like an accessorie i look at whether its make-up like that to bring your eyes out or to cover up a pimple it should be ok and i use my makeup to accessorize and help to bring out my outfit or to add a little sparkle to my face.

Blueish green. I have the exact same color eyes as you and they are normally like that but if I cry a lot more they turn blue. I LOVE my eyes, because of the color. I get a lot of compliments. You should be proud that you have pretty eyes too.

The sooner you shave your legs, the more often you will have to shave them for the rest of your life!! Hold out as long as possible and perhaps suggest something like mineral makeup so your enhanced type not all colored. . . .

Okay first of all it depends on your age. But I started shaving when I was 12-13 because I needed to. So here’s a way to go about it. Sit down and talk to your mom, tell her you feel uncomfortable with the hair on your legs and you want her to show you how to shave Sun that you do not feel awkward. If she says it does not matter what others think, express to her that it’s not what others think but its what you think and feel, plus if you get the hang of it now, you’ll have less nicks when it’s more important for your legs to be shaved. Second, as to makeup that is a tough one. I would not wear foundation until you need to, but maybe talk to her letting her know that you would like to wear subtle things. For instance, you could use tinted moisturizer. It’s very subtle, keeps your skin healthy with moisturizer but not too thick. Then you could wear very light shimmery eyeshadows and lip gloss, if you do things like this, it will not look like your being too old for your age but just becoming more mature. Makeup may be a hard one for you to sell. I know I was about 14 when I started wearing it. Try to sympathize with her and when she was that age, how she felt. Good luck, and remember if she says no, do not sneak it, it’ll make her not trust you. Just bide your time and talk to her again.

If you have wrinkles, use liquid. If you use powder when you have wrinkles, it wants to emphasize them. If you do not, then use powder.

Here are some tips: – Apply only a thin layer of foundation. – Wear bronzer instead of blush. – If u want to use eyeshadow, use only neutral-colored ones. – Wear brown or brown-black eyeliner and mascara instead of black ones. – Wear eyeliner in a simple way. yes, but go for a more natural look. you want to still look good on stage but not look as if you got all made up to go to a party. just wear some concealer, loose powder, mascara, the very basics.

Well, this is what i did and I’m going to do it for prom. i had my stylist just shampoo my hair and put it in huge rollers. then she teased it all up (it looked like a tree) then she styled it to look “it girl” (google that, it’s a 60s do) but instead she tucked it under to the side instead of making it flippy.

I had the same problem a few years back. I think that a lot of moms are worried that their daughters will become crazy makeup and wear way too much, ending up looking like Malthus. . . you know. When I was thirteen a lot of my peers wore way too much makeup and I’m sure that led to the conclusion of how I would end up So maybe if you convince her that you would only wear enough and etc., it might loosen her And up on the shaving of legs thing, I can not really tell you how to get her to let you do that.

i heard that liquid mineral makeup does not last that long, it just runs off your face after a while. so get a primer. (Best ones at Sephora. Com). liquid that is probably better, the powder looks kind of fake on my skin, pasty. To apply, use a sponge and dab on (pat it on your skin) until it looks-even this method looks more natural

Prove to her that you are mature enough to do these things. I think girls should be allowed to shave their legs when entering middle school. Girls should be allowed to wear a little makeup when they are in middle school but that is only maskara, lipgloss, and blush. . that sort of thing. Just make sure your mother knows that you can be responsible with the makeup and shaving your legs.
