I’m going to wear a black dress for a wedding, but don’t want to dress head to toe in black and look like I’m going to a funeral. Any ideas how to brighten it up a bit?

Find some brightly coloured accessories. Or you could choose a gorgeous bright coloured pair of heels and match an accessory to them. Go pink or purple or something fun like that.

I just went to a wedding and wore black and i wore pearls and you could wear some light colored shoes that would be cute.
I think choose a nice colour and accessorise it up, maybe with Pretty colourful headscarf, or you can get cute flowers to put in your hair, and maybe match with some jewellery, – a nice necklace/beads. if you have some cute shoes you could make them work as a bit of a feature if they go with the other accessories??? i think it will look nice, cant go wrong with a little black dress! have fun !

Cute and funky accesories!! And try flowers!! Flowers = happiness!! Wear your hair up, in a fun messy bun, with a flower in it. Natural make-up, colourful waist belt, possibly metallic shoes, or wedge heels, or shoes that show your toes (red toe & finger polish)

you have to wear bright fashion accessories or jewelries. If its not enough then try wearing some designer clothes like a light colored jacket to brighten up that black dress.
try wearing some diamonds or sparkly jewelry. that would be classy elegant and not funeral like. your shoes should be open toed and gold or silver and nice and sparkly.

Jewellery is a great way to brighten up an outfit. You could get a really bright reddish coral necklace and get matching shoes. Your dress would emphasise the jewellery and make that the focus of attention rather than the colour of your dress. You could also wear some flowers or a pretty hairband in your hair to make you look special as well.
