How far in advance should i get my wedding dress?

I’m not planning on loosing much more weight, maybe just five pounds, then tone up. When should i start looking for a dress? I’m getting married next summer.

I would say you need to check different bridal salons and find out how long it will take for them to do any necessary alterations on your dress to determine your time frame. Most places send your dress to another location for alterations, and that can take 3 weeks or more. Just to be safe, I would say 4-6 months in advance of your wedding is when you should buy your dress, because you also want to have it available for engagement pics and any other pics you want, etc. Congrats!!!!!!!!

They said 9-12 might be good, but I think 6 months is enough for us brides to choose the discount wedding dress, We have already kept our fit that time, don’t you think so?
