How do I keep converse shoe tongues from sliding to the side?

I just got a pair of converse all-star lo’s and the tongue keeps moving to the side. It looks kinda wierd and i dont like it at all. I would like a solution to this. I was thinking maybe holes through the tongue to put the laces through, though I doubt that would work. Please give any solutions or plausible ideas. Thankyou for any contributed answers.

  1. tie them tight, and make sure that the tounge is in the middle when you tie them, it happens to mee too. THis tip doesn’t always work

  2. I used velcro for mine, thin strips on the top tongue on the sides and the top under the sneaker where they meet. . . its kind of hard to explain but i`m sure you can figure it out

  3. happens to me too ;p lol
i would prolly say to tie them tight and i dont think people will make fun of you for it.
unless it bother you then just sew it also (:

  4. Converse adapt to your feet as you wear them. Give them a little time and tie them correctly and the tongues will keep in place.
