What are good ways to wear make up for parties?

I’m 12 and I’m going to a party and I was wondering what are some good ways to wear your makeup for one. Like your eyeshadow and stuff. I have light tan skin brown eyes, kinda dark brown hair, I have really long eyelashes, too. So if anyone could help, because I don’t want to make it really boring. Thanks!

    You’re only 12.
You don’t need that much makeup.
Maybe a light coloured eyeshadow, mascara and lipgloss. :)
    Have fun!

I’m 12 too! So a volumizing (not lengthening) mascara, lip gloss (tinted one, with color), blush (if you want), eyeliner for sure.
And here is something you could do with your eyes.

Or whatever smoky eyes. Or just add a bit of light grey eyeshadow, really simple but looks nice. Just blend it around your eyelids.

At your age and unless it’s a costume party, don’t be tempted to go too heavy with the make up because it will just end up looking weird. A light, soft neutral eyeshadow and either no mascara or very lightly applied brown mascara. NO EYELINER! That will probably just look goofy. Clear or very pale lip gloss just to be shiny.

What’s really boring are the girls that glop on makeup and eyeliner to try to look old instead of using makeup to highlight what they already have going for them, which is what you’re supposed to do with it! Makeup is to make you look good, not old!
