What are some good slimming jeans for a petite girl?
I am short with hips so hip hugging jeans just arent’ flattering. I used to buy my jeans in the jr dept of nordstroms bc they fit so well, but now that I am a bit older I want a good pair of expensive looking jeans. I want to look like a professional when I am wearing this jeans when I go out to dinner or with friends. Help!

Definitely try True Religion brand jeans! They do come a bit long so you will have to have them tailored but it is well worth it. Besides any reputable store will tailor them for you at no charge. They have an amazing fit, come in many styles(tapered, flare, straight, etc.) and they are perfectly cut to accentuate a woman’s body and her curves in just the right way. Once you try them, there is no going back…you will get hooked for sure! Best of luck to you in the search.
Any brand is good. Just follow these rules:
1) If you are petite with a long torso and short legs, do not wear low rise jeans. They will make you look shorter and too low to the ground.
2) Wear midrise jeans, that come up to the navel. They make legs look longer.
3) Dark washed jeans make legs look leaner and create a long line from hips to heel making the hips look thinner.
4) Straight leg, wide leg, and boot cut are all cute and look great on anyone regardless of height.
5) Wear what makes you HAPPY and feel CONFIDENT.
I think Lee jeans are the best. So are Calvin Klein.
I would try EXPRESS they have many many different styles and cuts and lengths and the quality is great! I’m 4′ 11″ and have short legs and my favorite pair of jeans is from there!
Try The Buckle. That is where I get my jeans and I am a petite woman. They will hem the jeans for you at no additional cost. They carry a variety of great name brands.
