  1. Does the invite specify a dress code? Usually such a late wedding would be quite formal (black-tie) so you would be looking at a full length gown. I would wear something like this…

    However – most weddings are semi-formal these days and if you are not sure how formal it is I would be more inclined to wear something like this…

    I think that would be safe as it is shorter so it appears more semi-formal, yet the material and style are in a formal fashion so you wouldn’t look too out of place in either setting. Even something like this which is long, but not as formal in style would work well if you are unsure…

    If it is definitely semi-formal / cocktail (and it may be an idea to ask if the invite doesn’t specify) then something like this with a shorter skirt would be ideal…
