What material is the best for black skinny jeans?

By Baday, March 4, 2010 5:20 pm

Do you like the typical denim material? Or the more spandex-ish..dressy kind of material? (For black ones only!)

I have a pair from PacSun but some how it started getting white spots..and I dyed it but it didn’t work! So I’m planning to get some new ones.

Also, what stores sells pretty nice quality black skinny jeans?
Except Pacsun.

Thanks.

Yeah the denim quality can vary quite a bit. The best material is the stretchy spandex stuff. It totally lasts the longest of all the jeans I’ve ever owned since like the late 80′s. Also the more expensive skinny jeans can be made of much better denim. Like Japanese denim which is considered the highest quality because of how it’s woven and dyed. It just doesn’t fade, feels softer, and lasts a long time. I have a couple pairs of 4 year old tight black skinny jeans that I wear all the time and they haven’t frayed and basically haven’t faded. It’s the highest quality denim of any jeans I’ve ever had! The ones I have are by Salt Works Jeans which is like a more limited edition designer jean that you can’t just by anywhere. They are a black wash low rise skinny jean made of Japanese denim that were something like $100 and I found them online somewhere for like $45. I would totally buy more of them, well if I ever wear out the ones I have first! lol!

Here’s their web site, but they are really expensive there and I’d check around for discounts. You may have to get something else if these are too limited to get. Totally worth it and no one else you know will have them though if you do! :-)
