What type of shoes can I wear with skirts in the winter?

I’ve really gotten into wearing skirts, flowy ones, A-line ones, and they’re easy to pair with any sandals in the summer. I have several pairs of knee high or calf high boots I can wear in the winter. But what kind of shoes can I wear with skirts and tights. I know heels with pantyhose for dressy but I mean just kind of casually. I thought wedges would look OK but I don’t know, I tried a pair on with tights and thought it looked funny. I don’t want to wear boots all the time but can’t figure out what type of shoes look OK with skirts and tights.

I would wear a short flowy skirt with solid colored tights, a pair of calf length trouser type socks that you could scrunch up, and a pair of those really cute ankle heels that tie up in the front. Just make sure that your colors match.
