Can you rehighlight a botched highlighting job? Posted on March 5, 2013 by Baday I tried a home kit with the comb that you put in your hair with streaks. I have dark blonde hair. I put the light blond streaks at the back of my head too close together and they look like a sunburst now. If I buy of box of blond hair dye and do my whole head, that will even out the color, or want to turn the light streaks even lighter? What about that new stuff I’ve seen advertised lately that’s supposed to include highlights and lowlights all in one?
I hate to say this because I know it is more expensive, but wy not get it professionaly done. They will make it look fabulous and much less damage. You will look more beautiful than ever!!
Spend the $ 75 and go to a professional hairdresser! I did the box thing for years and I can remember having “ooops” and how it was embarrising to go buy 2 more boxes to correct it and it still looked terrible. By the time you fix it your hair will be broken and orange and you wil wish you did not even mess with it. I’ve been seeing this one girl for 2 years now and its amazing how much better my hair looks.
Its time for the professionals to step in now and fix your problem. . The only way to fix it is to get it foiled with highlight and low lights. . . Those kits are worthless, and saying they have gimmicks include highlight and lowlight. . . Can not be done with out foils. . Save the hassle and get to a salon. . .
SOUNDS LIKE ONE WHEN YOU PULLED THROUGH THE CAP AMOUNT OF YOUR HAIR THAT WAS PULLED THROUGH WHAT NOT EVEN REAL AMOUNTS. SOME WERE MED. AMOUNTS WERE SOME WAY TOO MUCH. THAT WOULD CAUSE THE EFFECT SUNBRUST. APPLY BLONDE ON THIS WILL ONLY MAKE YOU VERY LIGHT AND NOT EVEN REAL ANYWAY. YOU ARE BETTER OFF TO GO WITH A SOFTERMED. BLONDE AND STAY WITH THE SAME COLOR COMPANY YOU HAVE ALREADY USED. APPLY IT TO A FIRST SWATCH OF HAIR-CUT YOU OFF AND TEST IT FIRST TO SEE THE SHADE. HAIRDRESSER OR SEE YOU ASAP!
Yeah, the best thing to do is see a hairdresser. If you’re only using rinse those things then that’s fine to do at home, or possibly at all over color is ok as long as you know what you are doing, but do not mess about with foils and streaks on your own-the only people who can do this properly are the hairdressers.
