How long after bleaching can I dye my hair back to its natural color?

I had my hair bleached blonde yesterday and I hate it!! It came out really uneven. How long before I can dye my hair back to it natural color?
The problem is the roots took the bleach and my ends didn’ts. I have dirty blonde hair to begin with and some of the “dirty” is showing through at the ends.
Sad thing is. . . I DID go to a salon!

  1. A lot of times, the color won’t stay on the bleached part. Dark colors won’t work on it. You can dye it back right away if it’s a lighter color. People put colors on bleached hair all the time. The main reason people bleach their hair is to put a different bright color on it. I know from experience though that dark colors will not work on recently bleached hair. It will either not stay on or it will fade out all uneven after a short while.

You should be able to dye it back soon. Your best bet would be to ask a proffessional.

  2. You should wait at least a week as because of the chemicals and loss of pigment in your hair it might go green, yes green!
However, if you really really hate it you can dye it now, but first to avoid any horrible colours you must use a colour filler. Since your hair was bleached all of the red pigment was taken out of your hair so colours such as brown will not apply right onto your hair.

Colour fillers can be found in most salon services!

  3. You did this yourself, right? When done professionally, you would not get lighter roots. It’s only when an amateur does a bleach that this happens. I’ve seen it many times. You did it improperly, and there may have been some build up of other products on the ends as well.

It’s easy enough to get this evened out — by a professional. Don’t try it yourself.

You can “dye” your hair at any time. There is no point in waiting. It won’t repair itself if you wait! LOL But why did you bleach it and then didn’t like it? What did you think was going to happen? Didn’t you have your consultation first before doing this? I don’t understand why you would do this experiment on yourself. This is permanent damage and you can only get rid of it by cutting ALL this hair off. . now or eventually. Any consultation is normally at no cost in most salons. Use it.

  4. Undeniably consider that which you said. Your favourite reason seemed to be at the internet the simplest thing to take into account of. I say to you, I definitely get irked even as people think about issues that they plainly do not recognize about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the top and outlined out the entire thing without having side-effects , folks can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thank you
