How can I wash my hair without shampoo after a workout?

I know it’s bad to shampoo your hair everyday, but here lies the problem. I workout mostly everyday and get pretty sweaty. In fact when I take my hair out of the hairtie it doesn’t even fall out (it looks like a mullet held up by sweat lol). I don’t see any way around using shampoo everyday, but I don’t want to damage my hair. Does anyone else have this problem and what should I do?

  1. i tend to have really dry hair so i only use shampoo every other day. i workout everyday and on days when i don’t use shampoo, i just use conditioner. i do try to really get the water in my hair so it would wash the sweat and dirt out before i put conditioner on, then leave it for 2-3 minutes then i rinse. surprisingly my hair isn’t greasy when it dries. :)

    if this doesn’t work for you, try applying shampoo on the roots only then use conditioner on the body of your hair after. :)
