How do i stop shampoo from flattening my hair?
My hair’s all dry and hard, so i use shampoo on it. The problem is, when i use shampoo it flattens my hair and i look weird, and if i use spray gel after i use shampoo my hair gets all hard again. So, how do i stop shampoo from flattening my hair without using gel?

What shampoo does is to clean. When it’s blow dried it becomes fuller and silkier, if it’s healthy.
You sound like you’re adding products to your hair, and we don’t know about it because you didn’t mentioned it.
If you don’t dry your hair, yes it flattens out.
But it’s not your shampoo.
It is because of the product, like conditioner, you have build-up.
Gel is supposed to make your hair hard, that’s the purpose.
You can try a volume shampoo and blowdrying upside down and then teasing it with a comb.
use the shampoos that volumnize your hair
i’m assuming you’re a guy.
What you could do is go through the shampoo aisle and bbuy a shampoo especially made for volumizing hair.
It lifts up your hair from the roots so it won’t stay flat all day.
Try Aussie i heard that worked.
It’s the purple one with the kangaroo.
gel is gona make your hair hard, plus gel has alchol in it witch damageing for your hair, your shampoo also has alchol in it witch is damageing for your hair, what you can do is get a high quality shampoo and gel, also a shower filter will filter out chorine witch is bad for you hair. Get some africas best super grow(its a hair greace)you apply a pea size rub on palms then the roots of your hair, that will cure the dryness. you can get some root lifting product(it will add body so it wont be flat) and ether get a round brush and hair dryer, or some big rollors that you could blow dry thru or could let air dry, or a big curling iron. that should fix ya. dont use the gel for lifting your roots most likely the gel just make your hair hard, but it depends on the gel. you could also get a body perm witch your have to redo monthly cuz it will grow out.
