How long should I wait to dye my hair after getting a neck tattoo?

How long should I wait to dye my hair after getting a neck tattoo? I have two tattoos on the back of my neck that I got on Wednesday. Do I have to wait for it to finish healing before I can dye my hair and how long should I wait?

    yeah, wait… it wouldn’t be good for the tattoo if those chemicals got in it before it healed

    Yes you should wait. Wait at LEAST 2 weeks.

    Yes you should wait until the tattoos have healed first. This usually takes 7-10 days or as soon as all scabs have fallen off, depending on the tattoo. Because it is still an ‘open wound’ it has a risk of getting infected. You should always keep a fresh tattoo clean.
