Tryed lightening my hair with lemon. Why will not it work? Posted on July 31, 2012 by Baday I have naturally black hair! I tryed to put lemon juice (99% real lemon juice) in my hair and using a hair dryer but its not working! I have done it for about 5 days in a row! What am i doing wrong?
I think you might have to wait longer. You can not expect results days in Figure 5. I remember reading that in a magazine once, but I think it only makes natural highlights.
using a hair dryer will not work you actually have to sit out in the sun, it really works :) blow drying it just damages your hair even more
In order for it to work most effectivy, you must be out in the sun for long hours. However if you have black hair and are using lemon juice to lighten it, it will most likely turn red, not blonde. . .
