   I’ve never heard of that happening before. I had blondish hair and I dyed it black / dark brown and it turned out perfect!

   I do not see any reason why it would turn green, but maybe you should ask your hair stylist, or anyone who cuts hair really. I’ve brought to my stylist dye box to use on my hair before, it turned out kind of funky. . . If you have doubts, ask someone who does it for a living :)
