What width of hair straightener is good for curling hair?

I have heard a lot of people saying they can get really nice curls in their hair with their straightening irons. I was wondering what the ideal width of the iron would be for this purpose. I have a revlon one that is not too wide, but it is slightly rounded in shape. What width is reccomended for nice, loose ringlets?

I think it has to be small like an inch tops. I have a pretty wide one but I haven’t tried curling my hair with it, I’ll try someday though. . .

One inch or less. Anything else will do strange things to your hair.

To curl my hair i use the standard GHD straighteners, and they produce gorgeous curls. So i suppose if your straighteners look similar to these then you should be fine.

Although, to be honest the style of straighteners doesnt really matter, its the technique. But as said, skinny straighteners will make skinny curls, fat straightenrs will produce loose locks.

To get the best curls, leave your hair unwashed for about 2/3 days. . spray on a heat defence (AT THE ENDS ONLY) and wrap your hair around the straightening irons. .

It will take a while to find a technique best for you, but it will come after a bit of practice. .
