How can I find an under eye concealer to match my skin tone?
I have REALLY dark under eye circles. Right now I use Benefit Erase Paste and it is a little too light for me. In the store it looked okay though.
What should I look for? How can I tell? AHHHH so complicated.

because you can’t use normal concealers under ur eyes…
u need a red tone to even the dark cierlces under your eyes
try a redish concealer tone and see the difference
to chelsea: is that true? i’ve tried a yellowish tone to hide them but they always make me look ashy, then i asked and the make up artist at MUF gave me a palette that has a reddish tone to it and told me that it should work with my problem and it did!
i might have used a wrong color to my skin, i’m kinda yellowish fair skin… what color should i use you think?

look for any concealer that has yellowish undertones, not pink or peach.
pink is a color in the skin that we try to eliminate.
yellow neutralizes the bluish purplish undereye circles.
also make sure that its true to your own skin color.

Look closely at the color of your under eye circles. If they are purple, use a yellow concealer, if they are blue use an orange concealer. These colors are complete contrasts of one another which is why they are best for eliminating the original color.
I use Lancome’s Effecernes concealer and it is so easy to apply and comes out smooth and covers wrinkles. It won Allure’s Best of Beauty award too. I would suggest this because I have genetic dark circles which means I can’t get rid of them even with a good nights rest.
If you’re still a little iffy about using it then I recommend going to a local Sephora because the store reps are so helpful in helping you find the right type and shade of concealer.
I forgot to mention to cover up the concealer with whatever powder you currently use. Or if the concealer works well enough, a clear setting powder. Also, someone mention to use a red concealer. Red is used to cover up green color. This could also be useful if your undereyes have an olive tone or if your skin in general has an olive tone.
