I’ve been using it for years and I think it’s better than anything else.
It’s great for your lashes and the delicate skin around your eyes. Just make sure you don’t get it anywhere else.
Plus, many people swear it makes your lashes grow longer!

I know you said you don’t want to spend more money, but I will make a recommendation anyway, for future reference. I use Neutrogena eye makeup remover. It’s about $5-6 at Target. It lasts a long time, and works really well for me.

Use good old castor oil, sold in the health food stores. Not only is it good for taking of your mascara, but it will actually help your eyelashes grow.

I understand how you feel about not wanting to spend more money on makeup remover. However, I recently bought some and it’s money well spent. You don’t have to buy an expensive one, just by any drugstore brand. Trust once you use it, you will agree that it’s worth it. The mascara will come off so easily as well as eyeliner and eyeshadow. Buy the makeup remover that is specific for eye makeup.

it DOES clog pores, and is just overall NOT a good product (its bad for the environment too) but anyways, really, you NEED to buy yourself some eye makeup remover. washing off your makeup with facewash wont wash it off completely, and you’ll wake up with black spots under your eyes. Just spend a few more dollars on eye makeup remover. The best one i’ve found is by almay, which is really inexpensive. you can find it at wal mart or target. its in the purple bottle. all you do is dab some on a cotton ball and wipe off your mascara or toher eye makeup. it works really great, it gets EVERYTHING off so easily, and doesnt leave your eyes oily like vaseline would. its basically like wiping on water. its only about $6…go buy it and stop using vaseline!!!

I use vaseline all the time, and always have.
I have never had a problem with it.

vaseline has natural oil it it, it will clog pores maybe a little bit but its the most effective and cheapest way to remove eye make up. after you remove it, you should wash your face and that’ll prevent clogged pores. also, vaseline will help your eyelashes grow which is a bonus! :]

Hey!
Vaseline is great for your eyelashes, as a matter of fact. It can actually help your eyelashes become thicker and stronger, so you’ve got an added bonus to your mascara remover!

Vaseline is fine and shouldn’t do you wrong in fact it will add moisture. You can also try baby shampoo. It is very gentle but should do the trick as well and it is pretty cheap for a large amount.

Yes, Vaseline is horrible for your skin. I like St. Ives Make-up Remover & Facial Cleanser. It’s cheap and takes of eye make-up great along with all othewr make-up, and doesn’t dry your face out.
