What is a good amount of time for make up artist doing a fashion shoot?
I am looking for professional opinions on what proper time frame would be for a make up artist to do their craft for a shoot for a comp card? I have an event that I am planning and I dont want to short change any one time wise. Thank you ahead of time.

I would say maybe an hour. That’s what I’m hearing is the most they take for shoots. 30 minutes if you can work fast but an hour sounds reasonable because you don’t want to be pressed for time. It also depends on what kind of makeup you’re doing, lots of details will take more than an hour but if you’re just doing a flawless face, some eyeshadow and stuff like that with nothing too dramatic then an hour sounds good.
