How do I get rid of a bump around my nose piercing?
How do I get rid of this? I got a nose piercing about 4 weeks ago and now I have a pimple size bump on the top side of my nose piercing.

its probably infected. you should take out the piercing, clean the hole, maybe add a little neosporin to the outside of your nose before going to bed, clean the nose ring with some rubbing alcohol and put it back in. if you want to, add ice to the area to relieve the swelling.

If it is actually a pimple than just let it be. But when I got a piercing there were a few things that caused a bump. First off it could be white blood cells grouping up, but it shouldn’t do that after 4 weeks. It quite possibly is just inflamed with cartilage and scar tissue building up. Take an anti inflammatory pill or cream. Please clean you piercing and nose area with an astringent. You don’t want it to get infected.

I would say it’s infected, but don’t worry all you need is alittle peroxide or alcohol, and it should be fine. maybe try some lemon juice! Acid helpss. :) Hope that helps youu.

When my friend had that she said she used just hot water everyday with a washcloth and cleaned around it everyday and it went away.

you should go ask your doctor,
there might be a blood clot the needs to be drained.

depends on whether its a pimple or not.
take out the nose ring and look
and see
i did all my piercings myself
i know what im talking about
you will know if it is a bump because when you press it white stuff or pus will come out
sterilizee your hands first though and then mash it until you have gotten everything out
ive had two of them
but i love my piercing and take very good care of them
and no your nose ring want grow up if you take it out for that long

I had one two and i got rid of it my self
i did something not smart, and very hurtful
I stabbed it with a needle, and squeezed it with a tweezer till everything inside it was gone.
I cleaned it and after some days it was completely gone :) haha

It sounds like a keloid (look it up if you need more info), clean it twice daily with tea tree oil or some other non-drying wash. Even if it’s not a keloid the tea tree oil will help dry out the pimple.
