How much does getting a tattoo on your wrist hurt?
i m planning to get a tattoo on my wrist next week. i wanna kno. . how much does it exactly hurt. . has anyone got one at that spot!

when its done. . . . feww, i’m okay.
But you know what , if you want the tattoo really bad,don’t think about the pain. when you’ll get it done, you’ll be really proud. :)

having two tattoo artists as my best friend they said thier customers dont really react that badly to wrist tattoos.

A tattoo is made by stabbing a needle several hundred times into the skin. The thinner the skin, the more it will hurt. The skin on your wrist is very thin.
So, in answer to your question, it will hurt a great deal.

well , I have one on me wrist , its sorta like blood coming out of vein thing (dont ask my y i got that one) n it does hurt at the beginning a lot but after like first 2 minutes the skin goes into a shock n u dont feel a thing, except later during the drying period.

I have both mine done. The thinner you are the more it will hurt. Because its hitting bone. But it was so worth it. On my right wrist I have my daughters name (Emma) and on my left I have This Too Shall Pass. (Man that hurt!!!!!) Both of them where way worth it! Just be sure you can have it at work or be ready to have long sleeves a lot. Good luck :)

My ex had her initials on her wrist, and said she barely felt it. She also had one on her neck and said she barely felt that. I had one on my arm, and calf. And they both f**king murdered. Everyone has different pain thresholds. If you’re that worried, you could ask your tattoo artist to just use a “dry” needle on the area, i. e. with no ink, just to see if you think you can hack the pain. But Initials shouldn’t take to long, and your endorphins would hold out long enough hopefully. I wouldn’t worry too much about the pain :)

I have both wrists and it didnt hurt much. Just a little sore towards the end. But did see a girl scream and almost pass out from a tattoo on her wrist

Why not look at the resolved answers before posting this?????? This same question has already been asked a million times. . . . . .
Its a needle, and its jabbing repeatedly into your skin. . with ink. No one can tell you EXACTLY how bad it is because everyone EVERYONE is different. Im sorry, I dont mean to sound rude, but god damn if this question hasnt already been asked a million times on here and I have only been answering since this year. Also, why in the world would you get YOUR OWN initials?? Are you going to forget them?? You know, if you ever plan to marry, those initals are going to change. Also, if you have to ask what to get. . . then you arent ready for a tattoo. . . seriously. . . . you are asking strangers on Y!A for suggestions for a tattoo???

Its actually not too bad (marie – it shouldn’t go down to the bone). It will hurt a little but that’s to be expected. Just don’t think about it. Listen to music, read a magazine or something like that. Trust me I have one it lasted a whole 10mins, then it was finished.
As for designs anything really, I have a japanese symbol for friendship. May I suggest don’t get your initials, get a tattoo that means something.
And no upper arm is not that bad, u just get a weird tingly feeling in ur fingers. I have a tattoo there. Ribs was by far the worst but still not too bad

ITS NOT TOO BAD AT ALL
