I need a good face cream. That will get rid of black heads. I don’t have bumpy skin but I want that fresh out of the spa look. Do you know of anything over the coumter, not to expensive.

depends on your skin… cocoa butter works well for most people… but if you have more dry skin… go with cetaphil…

Use an exfoliator, like St. Ives, for your blackheads 3-4 times a week then use a cream containing Alpha Hydroxy Fruit acids, like Nutrisse.

You can treat blackheads with over-the-counter acne medications containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid.

Apply an astringent like witch hazel. It helps reduce oiliness. If its a bit harsh mix a bit of rose water in it.

Use creams containing AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Fruit acids) like glyco-creams that will clear away any dead skin cells and “expose” the blackhead. Use the AHA’s every 3 days or so.

Wash your face with a gentle water-soluble cleanser.

Apply a clay mask that does not contain ingredients such as mint or peppermint. It will absorb excess oil from the skin surface. If you have dry skin, use oil-absorbing papers to clean the face.

Apply exfoliant or a scrub that will help remove dead skin from your face.

Take hot steam on your face to soften the blackheads for easy removal.

i find that dove face creame (it comes in a very tiny pot) makes my skin smooth.
