What is the best way to hide a cartilage piercing?

I want to get a helix piercing, and I’m 18. My parents would probably not approve. What is the best way to hide it from them when I am at home?

  1. keep your hair down and cover your ears with it. try not to forget and tuck your hair behind your ear!

  2. The only way is to have you hair down all the time, over you ears. And only tuck it behind you ears when you at school, well- not around your parents, lol. But you can’t hide it forever, and eventually they will see it, but you’re 18, so they shoudn’t give you much trouble. I mean, it’s only your ear!

  3. Just cover your ears with your hair and wear a small enough stud that it’s hardly noticeable. It’s just that you should just break it to them. What’s the worst thing they can do to you, ground you? I doubt that they would throw you on the streets because of a silly piercing. You are an adult. I did it when I turned 18 without my parents permission and I told them the minute I got home what I did. They pretended to be upset..but that was the extent of it.

  4. I have the same problem. I was going to pierce it by myself but im 13 and im scared my mom would find out. I think im just going to do it and take the punishment if I do get caught with it. Like they said above; what are they going to do, ground me, make me take it out..? I’ll just do it again. Hah

  5. hello, i had mine pierced today. i used my sisters i.d shes 16 and im 14! my mum or dad don’t know and im so scared im just wearing my hair down and taking it out it 6 weeks whenever i have my hair up :/
