I had my eyebrow pierced two days ago with pain minimal swelling or bleeding. I just did my sea salt soak and it started bleeding a bit. It’s not sore or red, swollen just a tiny bit (not much though). Is this normal or does it sound like I’m headed for infection?

Why is everybody freaked out about getting an infection from a piercing? I’ve got heaps of piercings from different places over the span of 20 years and I have never had an infection. What’s the go? Is there something I do not know?
