I’m a natural blonde and left the top part of my hair my natural color and dyed the bottom half of my head black. Three months later, I now wish to dye my hair a dark auburn/red color. The black hair dye has faded to a medium brown color with some patchy ash blonde spots in it. I was wondering if there is a specific way to dye this type of hair without getting a two-tone effect with the red dye?

I am a black male and currently I wear my hair in a low taper with waves. I am thinking about letting my hair grow out and get dreads. I don’t want to dye all of my hair, but rather do something that is very noticable. I have dirty blonde hair, so darker colors go better in my hair. Which is exactly what i want. Here are some ideas.
1- Dye only the tips a darker color.
2- Dye in lowlights. (which is like highlights but darker colors instead of lighter)
3- Dye the underside a darker color so you can see it when its up or when it sways.
What do you think are good ideas?
I had my hair relaxed couple of days ago i wanted a straight hair. But that relaxers did not work. So i was thinking of getting the permenent straightening. Does it help?? My hair is not like african american hair but it has little curls and its gets frizzy very often. Any suggetions

I was just looking around the internet for a protein filler for my hair, because I need one after I bleach my hair but I can’t find any in the UK. I found a recipe using egg and olive oil and water to make a conditioner for your hair. Has anyone tried it? I wanna try it but I guess it would smell really bad? Also, are you suppose to use the egg yolks or the egg whites?

I have tried straightening my hair (which I have a lot of) but it only gets a little straighter and it gets all frizzy. Plus it doesn’t last long; it starts getting curly about 3 hours after I straighten it. I use a Zoe Model: 4434 straightener. I bought it used in a yard sale. What is the best straightener for my curly, thin hair?

I have short hair and I tease them sometimes to make them stick up, which makes my hair puffier. But I can’t find any hair spray that can hold the shape. The hair stays up for a while and is pulled back down by gravity during the day. Any recommendations? I am looking at a price range of $30 or less.

I cut my hair about a month ago and I’m I’m starting to realize that it is beginning to get harder to style my hair. Also I think my hair looks different and worst with the style I’ve been using since I cut my hair.

I tend to find that the dye starts washing out after 2 washes or so. I know I cant dye my hair that often with the semi’s so I was wondering how often it is ok to dye it? I don’t want to use permanent and I don’t want to damage my hair any more than it is already!
