I just ran out of translucent loose powder that I use to seal and mattify my foundation, and I have to go somewhere important tomorrow morning, so I want to wear makeup, but I have sort of oily skin, so I need powder. Does anyone know anything else I could use? I have stuff like body powder and stuff, so would that work?
I’m wearing a strapless knee-length, slightly-poofy, satiny-white & black polka-dot dress for prom. I am wearing black opaque tights and white shoes.
I am thinking of going for the ‘smoky eye’ effect with pale lips and a hint of a blush. I will try to tone down the ‘smoky eye’ as I do not want to wear ‘too much’ makeup.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I don’t really like red/pink eye makeup.
I have a skin tone thats a little darker than tan but not brown and I can’t find a makeup brand that works for me. My hair is like really rough and I wish it could be silkier are there any hair products that are good? I have tryed garnier fructis but it doesn’t help. Any suggestions?
I need makeup suggestions for these two:
1. Traditional clothes in a royal red and a golden yellow
2. A dress-like thing in a reddish-maroon and a violet-purple
What kind of makeup should I wear with them?
What is a really good mascara and what makeup such as foundation and concealer best suits someone with dark skin?

Lets say you wash your face in the morning and still take medication
and then put makeup on (concealer, tinted moisturizer/foundation and bronzer) and then wash it off at night and take medication again. .
does makeup still cause harm to your skin?
also do you recommend any foundation/tinted moisturizer that doesn’t clog your pores?
thankyou!
What i should with my nails and makeup for my graduation?
What i should with my nails and makeup for my graduation?- I am wearing a black lacy dress with and red strappy heels.
I used to wear a certain foundation, but i just felt that there could be something out there just as good or better so i purchased some more well known and recommended foundations to compare and contrast with my old one. Now that I’ve used the other foundations i have been waiting to use, i still find that my old foundation still looks and feels better. Has this happened to anyone? If so what are your makeup staples that couldn’t beat any other makeup that you’ve tried? Specifically foundations.
I had an open appendectomy in January and I have a large scar on my stomach that is dark pink. I really want to be able to wear a bikini this summer so what kind of makeup is good? Something affordable i. e. under $20. I have pretty light skin.

I have already tried bare minerals it doesn’t work for me. . . . I have very sensitive skin that breaks out very easily. My skin is very oily and I do apply a non oil based foundation and powder as makeup. I need good coverage that won’t leave my skin looking like I just dipped it in a grease bucket. I always have to constantly blot my face so that it doesn’t look oily. I need desperate help. If you really know what your talking about please give me advice. Thanks!
I use a pressed powder and concealer most days. I also use a very expensive moisturizer sparingly. My makeup goes on great, but I’m wondering if I should ditch the moisturizer? I have oily skin, so it’d probably be best to just use the moisturizer at night; will my makeup still go on well and blend well, or is a little bit of moisturizer always advised?
You know, there are hair salon places, especially designed for hair cutters to buy their products for a cheaper price, and to buy equipment, such as chairs and heat tools and scissors. Anyone could go there to just buy products for a cheaper price. ANYWAY, is there a makeup store like that? Not like Sephora, (that’s pretty expensive), but something more affordable. Or is it just hair supplies/equipment stores that exist?
I’ve had bad dark under eye circles for a long time, it’s not lack of sleep or anything. What is the best makeup to use? Everything I have used settles into fine lines and fades away after a few hours. I’m only 21 and I feel like it makes me look old! I’ve used Clinique, Dr. ‘s Formula and regular foundation, plus set it with powder. Please help
My mother is allergic to honey and makeup, especially lipstick and mascara contain beeswax which she is also allergic to. I want her to be able to enjoy makeup again.
Something that’s not too expensive, I’ve never worn makeup before which is why I’m asking and my senior protraits are coming up.

I currently don’t wear any makeup, or if I do, only a tiny amount of lip gloss and compact to hide my pimples.
I am in the 7th grade.
So what sort of makeup should I wear?
Thanks!

My grandma still uses lipsticks that she bought 4 years ago, the thought of it is gross but hey the lipstick looks ok.

I’m about to hit 21 and realizing that I really need a style change. I’ve never worn makeup or done anything to my hair except cut it every 6 months. Point being, I’m looking for VERY BASIC books with step by step guides and useful information about hair and makeup. I grew up with a house of guys and know nothing about beauty products or applying them, so I’m emphasizing “basic” books.
What are some great makeup tips and ideas that you have?
